I played acoustic for most of my life, even though I first learned on an electric(which, thanks to old photos I was able to determine was a Tele). I bought that one at GC in 2016(?) I think. I've attached a photo of her in the case, just so you can see. Next string go round, I want to get the original sound back. A couple of years ago, I changed the strings to flat wound for that Beatle-esque sound. That is when I went out and got strap stops for this and all future guitars.Īnyway, the Casino Coupe looks gorgeous in the Epi case. It survived well, and no issues with playing, but my beauty now has a chip that drove me crazy at first (though it is under the headstock and not visible to others).
On the day my case actually arrived, though, I was playing seated, and stood up, ready to put her away in her nice new case when the strap came loose and the guitar head hit the edge of a desk. Being my first of new guitar purchases to come, I wanted to make sure this one stayed pristine. The coupe was my first new electric in ages, and I loved the look of the Epiphone cases.
Ironically, I went through the same curiosity as you did, since it wasn’t made clear anywhere. I have owned both the coupe and the case for a little over three years. Good morning - I only just saw this post, so forgive me if it has been a while, but, yes, the 339 case will fit.
